Release notes

Videorc 0.9.15 Beta 1

All account, sign-in, and update links now point at videorc.com, opening Notes no longer sends the whole app behind your windows, and several rough edges got smoothed.

Videorc lives at videorc.com — and Notes stops hiding your app

  • Account, sign-in, billing, and updates now use videorc.com — no more Vercel preview address.
  • Opening the Notes window no longer hides the rest of Videorc until you close it.
  • The Library actions menu shows its labels in full instead of squeezing them into fragments.
  • The Comments window title no longer hides behind the close and minimize buttons.
  • The confusing red "requires native CAMetalLayer" badge is gone — the preview window reports its own health in plain language.

Videorc lives at videorc.com

Every link the app opens — your account, sign-in, billing, the changelog — and the update feed itself now point at videorc.com. If you bookmarked the old videorc-web.vercel.app address, it keeps working, but videorc.com is home now.

Notes stops hiding your app

Opening the Notes window with "keep on top" enabled sent the entire app behind your other windows until Notes closed — a macOS window-layering quirk. Notes (and Comments, and Captions) now float without hiding anything.

Fixes

  • The Library "…" actions menu sizes to its labels — no more two-line "Open in Publish" fragments.
  • The Comments window title cleared out from under the macOS traffic lights.
  • Removed the red "Production preview requires native CAMetalLayer" badge: it fired for harmless in-between states and explained nothing. The preview window itself now reports and heals its own issues, and the Studio badge only shows states you can act on.
