Videorc 0.9.6 Beta 1
0.9.6 rebuilds the Library into a proper recordings manager with thumbnails, real file sizes, rename, duplicate, import, and Trash-safe delete; the Comments window now shows every platform's chat with icons and avatars, can highlight a comment on your stream, and sends replies to all platforms at once; and the whole app wears a new black-glass dark theme with a porcelain light twin.
A real library for your recordings, richer live comments, and a black-glass look
- The Library is now a recordings manager — thumbnails, sizes, duration, format, search, and filters in one table.
- Rename, duplicate, or import recordings; deleting moves files to the system Trash, never straight to gone.
- Live comments from every platform in one window, each tagged with its platform icon and the commenter's avatar.
- Click a comment to feature it on your stream — username, avatar, and text, right on the video.
- Write one reply and send it to every platform you're streaming to.
- A new black-glass dark theme (and a clean porcelain light mode) tuned to the Videorc look.
The Library is now a recordings manager
The Library used to be a simple list. It's now a full table of everything you've recorded or streamed:
- Thumbnails for every recording, generated automatically — including your older sessions.
- The truth about every file: real size on disk, duration, format, and the scene it was recorded with.
- Search, filter, and sort — find a recording by name, show only recordings or only streams, newest or oldest first.
- Rename a session, duplicate it, or import a video from anywhere on your Mac (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM) into your library.
- Safe delete: deleting a recording moves the file to the system Trash — the Trash is your undo. Videorc never erases a recording outright. Select several rows to clean up in one go.
- An honest storage footer: how much space your recordings actually use and how much free disk you have left. No made-up quotas.
The title bar and toolbar stay put while you scroll, and the Publish page shows the same thumbnails and scene names, so both pages read as one system.
Live comments, upgraded
The Comments window is now a true multi-platform chat reader:
- Comments from every platform you're live on arrive in one feed, each one tagged with its platform icon and the commenter's avatar.
- Click a comment to feature it on the stream — the username, avatar, and message appear on your video for everyone watching. Click again to take it off.
- Reply once, everywhere: write a message in the Comments window and Videorc posts it to every platform that supports it.
Twitch note: sending chat messages needs a fresh sign-in once, since Twitch requires an extra permission — Videorc will ask when it's needed.
Black glass
The dark theme has been retuned to Videorc's logo: a true black-glass base with polished edges and the LED-red accent reserved for record and live. Light mode gets the same treatment as a clean porcelain twin. Same layout, same controls — just a deeper, calmer finish.
